Kirsten Sonne is a Copenhagen-based jewellery artist whose bold, playful creations blend artistic intuition with a background in graphic design. Her signature “Lost-and-Found” approach transforms unexpected materials such as metal, acrylic, pearls, fabric scraps, and even Barbie doll parts into striking, one-of-a-kind pieces. Each creation is a personal statement, rooted in individuality, courage, and the beauty of reuse. After a long career in graphic design, Kirsten opened her jewellery shop just before turning 70. Today, her work continues to defy convention, celebrating freedom of expression and the joy of the handmade. “My jewellery is a statement, an object of conviction. It boldly tells others who you are,” she says.
